From U-blue file is an improved version of the U-file and the U+ file.

How is it different or better than the previous U and U+ file?

The material of the needle differs from the previous ones due to a special heat treatment over a certain period of time. The new material is labelled Maxtech 6.0 NiTi by the manufacturer.

• Blue colour for better differentiation
• More flexible
• Has the CM property (controlled memory), i.e. it remembers the shape of the channel to be machined when it is pre-curved and does not bend back but retains its shape
• Lower chip performance, but longer service life and less breakage
• Recommended for channels with an inclination of 15°-35°
• Suitable for minimally invasive work: respects the anatomical shape of the canal and retains its shape during treatment
• Recommended maximum rotation speed increased to 400 rpm

If you want to work in canals with a curvature of more than 35°, the manufacturer recommends the extremely flexible needles X-grey.
