Please note that all our manual root canal needles are only AUTO RUNNING up to 134 °C!
We accept no responsibility for damage caused by autoclaving at higher temperatures.
This C-file is an improved version of the traditional K-, R-, H-files.
Its cross-section is rectangular.
C-files are made of specially heat-treated stainless steel and are twisted in the file construction, which results in high rigidity and strength and facilitates access to difficult canals.
They make it easier for the needle to penetrate calcified canals.
Due to the gradual, slower needle thickness (6,8,10,12,15), there is less risk of penetration during processing.
The C-files were voted the best hand needles by the VDW in a survey.
The needle is inactive, so that perforation of the root tip and the foramen physiologicum occurs less frequently and insertion of the needle into the canal is safer.
Only one new size ISO 12.5 was used for this needle type.
Indication: narrow, calcified, curved canals.
